RAHA Bitumen 200/300 is a standard Penetration Grade of Bitumen ASTM D946-09, typically used as a Paving Grade Bitumen suitable for road construction and for the production of asphalt pavements with superior properties particularly in road and airport constructions and other similar applications. This grade of Bitumen is mainly used in the manufacture of hot mix asphalt for bases and wearing courses. Penetration Grades of Bitumen is produced from Vacuum Residue, which is blown by hot air in the Biturox Blowing Unit; The fully automated process runs continuously resulting in a constant and homogeneous finished product quality. RAHA Oil’s Penetration Grade Bitumen can be supplied in any grade and are designated by two numbers to indicate the mid-points of their penetration ranges.

Properties of Bitumen 200/300

Penetration grade bitumen 200/300 supplied by RAHA Oil is pure petroleum grade bitumen, manufactured from vacuum bottom by passing hot air. The bitumen supplied by RAHA Oil is produced from remain of crude oil after cracking and removing hydrocarbon. Penetration grade bitumen 200/300 has penetration between 200~300 desi-millimeter and the softening point between 32~ 37 C. The penetration grade bitumen 200/300 has a thermoplastic property which is like as synthetic resin material which gets softer with heating and hardens when cooled.
